I’ve just had lunch, all I want to do is sleep. Coffee isn’t helping.

When I say hangover, I mean from food. I haven’t had any alcohol in days.

I didn't even have a big lunch, but I feel like it's time to checkout. Just need to look like I'm working for a couple more hours

At this moment, I have more in common with this duckling than I do with most humans.

Fooooooooood coma.

Me too, I just had some amazing stew but it's so filling.

My cat is about 5 and he STILL does that. It's hilarious.

I love watching GIFs or videos of dogs and cats nodding off.

I had a Lebanese meat and cheese pie - “pie” is a bit of a misnomer since it’s actually meat and cheese on a flatbread (all made in-house). I suppose my mistake was getting two, but one just isn’t filling enough.

That sounds yummy.

I also just realized someone turned our office thermostat to 79...no wonder I'm so drowsy.

That’s way too warm; that temperature plus a food induced coma leads to a very unproductive afternoon.

I’m a firm believer that the standard 8-hour office day, 5 days per week is way too much. I could probably get the same done in some 6-hour or 4-hour days, or in a four-day workweek.

I also love that companies say they want employees to “think outside of the box” for beneficial ideas and when this kind of topic comes up it’s not even discussed. There’s nothing deeper in the shitbox than the 5-day, 40-hour workweek where you have to be at the office everyday.
